Colorado Statewide Outcome and Cost Evaluation of Adult Treatment and DUI Courts

Project Purpose: NPC is working with state and local agencies across Colorado to understand and improve programs and services for individuals and families impacted by substance use problems.

Project Design: NPC is using a quasi-experimental design to compare outcomes and costs for individuals who participate in Colorado’s adult and DUI treatment court programs with those who would have been eligible but did not participate in those programs. Data are drawn from the State Departments of Human Services, Judiciary, and Health in addition to local and county jurisdictions.
