Alcohol and Drug Treatment Follow-Up Study

Status: complete

Research Purpose: The purpose of this project is to document the treatment outcomes for individuals participating in publicly funded substance abuse treatment services. The study involves tracking and interviewing participants for up to one-year post-treatment in order to document their outcomes.

Project Design: A total of 500 treatment participants at 15 treatment agencies around Oregon will be recruited to participate in the study. NPC assisted the treatment providers with recruitment by producing all recruitment materials and training the treatment providers in recruitment and consent procedures.  Treatment staff conduct intake assessments on all study participants.  NPC is tracking the participants over time and is conducting 6- and 12-month follow-up interviews.
