Evaluation of Parenting Programs for Multnomah County (OR) Drug Courts

Project Purpose: NPC is working with Volunteers of America Oregon to assess the extent to which parenting programs are improving the outcomes of drug court participants and their children. This multi-method evaluation is tracking the implementation of parenting programs, participants’ experiences in the programs, as well as their success in drug court and treatment programming. NPC is collecting additional data regarding the impact that parenting program participation has on participants’ family well-being.

Project Design: This process and outcome study includes direct observation, key informant interviews with program staff, as well as interviews, surveys and focus groups with participants.
