Purpose: NPC provided evaluation services for the Family Circle program — a treatment enhancement program providing wrap-around services to primarily Native American and Alaska Native families in the Portland-Metro area who are in recovery for substance abuse. The key evaluation goal was to document the efficacy of the program enhancements—housing, education and employment services—on participant outcomes. A secondary evaluation goal was to begin work toward establishing an evidence base for these culturally specific substance abuse treatment services.
Project Design: The NPC Research evaluation team conducted one-on-one follow-up interviews, data entry, data management, and data analysis for this SAMHSA-funded Targeted Capacity Expansion grant.
