New Parent Packages

Purpose: This program provides first time parents in Multnomah County with a package containing information on child development, the local library, and coupons that the family can redeem for up to four children’s books at the library during different developmental milestones.

Project Design:

  • To create an Access database to house information about New Parent Package delivery and coupon redemption information, as well as survey responses from parents on early literacy.
  • To provide the library with an initial report to serve as a template for subsequent reporting to be queried from the Access database.
