What is Data Analysis?

Data analysis involves applying the right statistical or analytic techniques to answer the key questions that you have about your program, policy, or system. NPC staff can provide both quantitative and qualitative data analysis services using a variety of different software tools.

NPC’s Approach to Data Analysis

NPC provides state-of-the art data analysis services for both qualitative and quantitative data. Our highly trained staff participate in ongoing professional development to hone their skills and stay up-to-date with technical and methodological advancements. Our staff can work with you to help decide on appropriate analysis techniques to answer the questions that you have about your program or policy. NPC staff use a variety of software packages, including SPSS, M-PLUS, HLM, Access, Excel, and NUD*IST to analyze data. Staff are trained in a wide spectrum of statistical techniques, and have experience in matching the right technique to meet your needs. Specialized statistical skills include, among others:
