Jerod Tarte has been Co-President and Director of Finance and Operations at NPC Research since 2015, previously serving as Executive Vice President of Operations from 2012-2015. In his management role, he directs the company’s fiscal, operational, and management processes for a staff of 30 full- and part-time researchers and professionals.
In addition to his management role, Mr. Tarte has been involved in multiple evaluations for programs related to early childhood and juvenile populations with roles relating to project management, methodology development, statistical analyses and producing client reports and presentations. For the past several years his primary project focus has been the statewide evaluation of Healthy Families Oregon, of which he is the current Co-Principal Investigator.
Mr. Tarte’s prior evaluation work included being the project director on a federally funded randomized study of Healthy Families Oregon, and the statewide evaluation of Oregon’s Juvenile Crime Prevention program. In addition to numerous evaluation reports, Mr. Tarte published a series of articles on a randomized study of a home visiting program model, and strengths-based assessment use in both juvenile justice and early childhood settings.
In 2006 Mr. Tarte served as president of Oregon Program Evaluators Network, a professional affiliate of the American Evaluation Association. In 1994, Mr. Tarte received his M.A. in Psychology from CSU, Fresno.
