Dr. Olsen (she/her) is an applied social science researcher with over 15 years of experience in the fields of child and youth development, parent education, and family well-being research. She conducts rigorous and detail-oriented qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research using an equity lens to understand, humanize, and support people in context. She is passionate about using culturally competent methodology and disseminating research through accessible and alternative approaches. She is involved in numerous evaluations of programs related to child and family well-being and has experience partnering with communities in research, evaluation, and needs assessment efforts. Dr. Olsen is a co-founding member of the Child and Family Well-Being Center at NPC.
