Svea Olsen, Ph.D. (she/her), Research Associate and Project Director at NPC Research, is an applied social science researcher with over 10 years of experience in the fields of child, youth, and family well-being. Dr. Olsen has a strong background in research methods and design with extensive experience with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method data collection, cleaning, analysis, and dissemination. Dr. Olsen is passionate about understanding, humanizing, and supporting people in context and bringing an equity lens to research. Dr. Olsen has been involved in numerous evaluations for programs related to child and family well-being including those funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Oregon Department of Human Services, and the Oregon Early Learning Division.
